Changes to the Competition Schedule and Other Details for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Games

The Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games and Asian Para Games Organising Committee hereby announces that the competition schedule and other details for the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Games have been changed as outlined below.

1 The 20th Asian Games (2026/Aichi-Nagoya) Competition Schedule

Target Sport / Discipline	Reason for Change
Football	・The schedule was revised due to a reduction in the number of participating teams (from 16 to 15 for men, and from 16 to 12 for women), which required adjustments to the total number of matches.

・Cancelled all matches scheduled for Sep 14 and 17
・Cancelled 1 of the 2 matches scheduled for Sep 22
<Wave Stadium Kariya>
・Cancelled 1 of the 2 matches scheduled for Sep 21 and changed the start time
<Nagoya City Mizuho Park Rugby Ground>
・Cancelled 1 of the 2 matches scheduled for Sep 15 and 18
<Gifu Memorial Center Nagaragawa Stadium>
・Cancelled 1 of the 2 matches scheduled for Sep 21 and changed the start time
2 The 5th Asian Para Games (2026/Aichi-Nagoya) (1) Sports Program

3 Refunds for Canceled Sessions Due to changes in the competition schedule, the following sessions have been canceled. All tickets for these sessions will be fully refunded. [Canceled Sessions] 5th Asian Para Games Aichi-Nagoya 2026 ・PAT10 / Para Athletics | Sat, Oct 24, 09:00 | Nagoya City Mizuho Park Athletic Stadium (Aichi) [Refund Process] Refunds will be processed after the Games. Detailed instructions will be provided on the Official Ticket Information website and via email as soon as preparations are complete. Please keep your tickets in a safe place until further notice. [Exchanges and Transfers] Tickets for canceled sessions cannot be transferred or exchanged for other dates or events. If you wish to attend another session, please check the updated competition schedule and purchase new tickets separately. 4 Ticket Sales Following the changes to the competition schedule, ticket sales for Football and Para Athletics, which had been temporarily suspended, will commence sequentially from 5:00 PM on Wednesday, July 29.
